GEOGRAPH

Malvern Area

We were kindly invited to stay in a house near Malvern, which was our base for an extended weekend. Naturally we also enjoyed the hospitality of several pubs along the way.

We walked along parts of the beautiful Malvern hills, to the Priory, St Ann's Well, to the British Camp (ancient earthworks), along canals (Birmingham and Worcester) and to Elgar's birthplace near Worcester.

Worcestershire is a beautiful county with excellent countryside, interesting towns, pretty villages, good food and drink and apple orchards gorgeous in bloom and lip-smacking in cider.
