From Holme the Peddars Way connects to the North Norfolk Coastal Path, to Hunstanton a few miles to the west and Cromer more than 40 miles to the east. And that's our next venture, aiming to return to Wells where we started our walks ten years ago.

We know East Anglia isn't the first choice for hearty climbers and hill walkers - but there are delightful gentle walks through Breckland, coast, fen and the Broads. Anyone who has travelled The Ridgeway (85m, Avebury to Ivinghoe) might like to continue on these four paths:

Icknield Way (105m Ivinghoe to Knettishall)
Peddars Way (46m Knettishall to Holme)
North Norfolk Coastal Path (45m Hunstanton to Cromer)
Weavers Way (56 m, Cromer to Yarmouth)
Angles Way (78m Diss and Knettishall)
