The Hole in the Wall, Little Wilbraham March 2007

The Hole in The Wall, Little Wilbraham

We are impressed by this pub. We visited in January and March 2007 and found it quite well priced for very good food - a notch above the usual pub grub - and because we ate in the bar instead of the restaurant we were able to savour the real pub atmosphere. Woodford's Wherry, and Nelson's Revenge plus Milton's Dionysis made for a very good meal.

Our walk took us 10k (6 miles) through LIttle Wilbraham (interesting church, where we received an informal guided tour), Great Wilbraham, Fulbourn Nature Reserve and the outskirts of Fulbourn including a short stretch of the Harcamlow Way. A circular walk (kindly provided by go4awalk.com) ending in a good pub - can't beat it!
