I am a freelance educational consultant and a "portfolio worker".

Which means that although I have a regular job (soon to retire) as manager of the Cambridgeshire Education Portal and its content management system, I'm also self-employed and so no longer summoned by bells after 26 years in the classroom as a secondary school English teacher, ICT teacher, Head of Learning Resources, INSET coordinator and Webmaster.

It also means that I have a range of skills and interests which include:
