 Colonel Potter

This murder mystery is most fun when working together with others, although you can do it on your own.

There are ten chapters, so perhaps you could ask nine friends to write a chapter each - or two friends and yourself writing three chapters each. Of course you could copy each chapter and e-mail it to a friend or just send them a message saying where this web page is and ask them to join in.

In the end you will have a ten chapter murder mystery and should be able to work out who did it. Answers in next week's lesson, lesson 7.

Here is the start of the first chapter. Copy it to a new file. Continue writing the chapter after the three dots ... using the words in italics as suggestions

1. The night was dark and the rain poured down as if it would never stop. Colonel Potter sat in his study with a glass of whisky on a side table...
(he writes his diary, he cleans his gun, he puts out the cat, what is he thinking about? what is he writing?)

Save it. Send it!
