 Colonel Potter

Here is chapter 5 of the murder mystery.

There are ten chapters, so perhaps you could ask 9 friends to write a chapter each - or two friends and yourself writing three chapters each. Of course you could copy each chapter and e-mail it to a friend or just send them a message saying where this web page is and ask them to join in.

In the end you will have a ten chapter murder mystery and should be able to work out who did it. Answers in next week's lesson, lesson 7.

Here is the start of the chapter 5. Copy it to the same file as chapter 1. Continue writing the chapter after the three dots ... using the words in italics as suggestions

5. In the rest of the street people are stirring. A neighbour, Mr Bagshot, goes out for his morning paper and is surprised to find that Colonel Potter's curtains are closed...

(He walks up and down the street checking his neighbours' gardens and roofs for damage. Does he see Colonel Potter's light on? Does he see any damage to the house? Does he talk about this to his wife or to the newsagent?)

 Chapter 1  Chapter 2
 Chapter 3   Chapter 4
  Chapter 6   Chapter 7
  Chapter 8   Chapter 9

  Chapter 10

Copy each chapter into the same file and keep them in the right order.
