1. Put the information from the following table into a spreadsheet:

 Peanuts 0.45 6

 Biscuits  0.38 5  
 Cakes  0.23 9  
     GRAND TOTAL =  

2. Find the total cost for each item using the formulae. Copy the results to a Word file and save it as Party Food Results.

3. Find the Grand Total for the whole list. Add this to your Results file.

4. You decide you need 5 more cans of Cola. Alter the spreadsheet to show this. Note the result in your Results file.

5. Reduce the number of tortillas to 1. Note the result in your Results file.

6. You find you have £20 to spend. Choose extra amounts of food so the Grand Total comes as close to £20 as possible. Copy the result to your Results file.

7. Add 6 more items to the list. Make up a sensible cost for each new item. Change the number of items until the total is near but not more than £50. Copy the result to your Results file.
